‘Jim was recommended by a friend and it’s honestly one of the best gifts I’ve ever been given. I had been absolutely scarred by terrible builders on a major project on my house that took years longer than forecast. In fact, much of the work they did needed redoing and the outside of my large period house needed a lot of work. Jim helped me choose new sash window experts - I’m sure it helped having his wisdom and input. He worked tactfully alongside the builders repointing and the scaffolders - all of whom told me what a great job he was doing.

The neighbours all asked for his name and details and praised his workmanship. Some people tried to recruit him even while he was on my scaffolding, others took photos of his work.

He’s very honest about the job and the potential problems and limitations but does his level best. He’s also so honest personally that he had a set of keys to my house throughout and was incredibly respectful that my pets didn’t escape the front door. He was an absolute joy to have around - although he’s very discreet.

My 6 year old grandson was really disappointed he wasn’t here over Christmas! 

All finances were discussed in advance and I was given plenty of choices on materials, which again he researched so as not to put too much financial pressure on the job. I would thoroughly recommend him, always invite him back for work on my house, and am happy to give any more details should anyone require.
